What really annoys me is when they keep giving me my furniture back. I got rid of it for a reason, you ninnies!

I'm the sort of player who cheerfully agrees to anything my villagers ask of me and sell lots of things cheaply at Re-Tail merely because I hate the look of it empty so this happens to me a lot.

There's this teaset I gave to three villagers, two of whom later gifted, sold or traded it back to me. Bettina seems happy to keep it (although she insisted on giving me back my tiki torch today), then out of the blue Molly decided I needed a teaset and pulled a second one out of the void. A similar thing is happening with my hamster cage. I gave it to Dierdre, who gave it back, so I gave it to Marshall who insisted on swapping it with my wooden box today.

Probably the worst case was the time I convinced Roald to buy my patchwork lamp from Re Tail, then the very next morning he insisted on gifting it back to me "because I know you're into this sort of thing" and not to worry about payment as"one day there'll be something of yours I want." So not only did Roald give me something I had publically demonstrated I didn't want, he expects a gift in return some day.

I dont mind the furniture very much, I dont go into their houses unless invited. The thing I hate is when they randomly change their shirts. I took down all shirt designs and dont give them any packages other villagers asked me to deliver and they still change their stupid shirts.... Tex changed his shirt to a pink tank top with a large flower on it............. Why Tex... why.....

I feel you. Deirdre has most of the Modern Wood series in her house and she keeps trying to give them all to me. Thanks but...it looks better in her house because she has the forest theme going on already. I keep getting the bench from her and table I think. I mail them back to her but she ends up putting something dumb in her house anyway sigh.

If they give me something I want them to keep, I bury it behind their house and give it back to them when they ask to replace something or if a space frees up after I visit and buy something from them.
