Hi, I would accept gems ,items or treasure for the feather. Gems can be bought for real money if desired but there is a thriving market for selling items for gems no money involved.In addition the game gives you occasional free gems for exalting dragons, opening chests and basically just existing. I have paid no money but have thousands of gems in my vault.Have a great day

They have been having a registration period for several days once a month lately. I will pm you when the next one comes up. The good thing is that you really do not have to pay money if you don't want to ...Also there is a variety of things you can do so if you get bored with one aspect you can do something else instead.
