There was a blood drive in the gym of my high school. Students came, donated blood, and skipped their math tests (yes, you skip a block since the lack of blood would probably make you incapable of going to class). All I could think was that the recipients of that blood would be getting a lot of HIV from the seniors. Oh well, they probably check it or something. Anyway, I just wondered if anyone here donated blood. I haven't because I'm....scared of needles. Yes, I'm a wuss. I've heard of people donating blood for money, so that's an option. The rest are self-explanatory, besides the last one. I just put that one on to see if Twilight bashing is still popular, or if I'm too late.

I don't mind needles at all, and I would do it, but most of the people they use for taking your blood out are complete idiots who will probably *censored.3.0*ing mess things up and then you have to get your arm amputated. 8)

In my school you have to be 18 to go to the blood drive. But If I was 18, I definitely would go. I get blood drawn every 6 months anyway so I am use to it.

Yeah I'd love to. But I hate needles, and I hate being lightheaded. >.>

It's not that I hate the pain the needles give, because it doesn't really hurt, it's more of like a bruise feeling, but the skin puncturing is what gets me.

I don't have a problem with it people donating blood. I just find the actual act of drawing the blood disgusting.

I have donated blood for the Red Cross, but I had also sold my plasma one Summer in College for extra walking around money... fun.

Donating blood is a cause but when it goes to other countries and such like the Red Cross does it sucks. Plus I'm scared to go through a bus/building to get it done. Then about last year I saw some kids with arms like a tomato from a screw up I think.
