I've heard many different answers on this front, and I'm not really sure which one is true so I thought a thread would be appropriate. If I were to do a huge lead. say 3 months backward, from the day I am currently on...Are there really any risks? I've heard it counts it as one day, but from others I've heard it counts as multiple days. So does anyone know the true answer for this?

No. Time traveling backwards has basically no risks no matter how far you travel. It rots turnips but that is all I can recall.

I noticed if a villager was moving in and had boxes in it's house, if you TT'ed backwards, they would then have finished unpacking and would act normally like the other villagers. I don't think there are any bad things that can happen though.

It might also cause bed hair, but nothing other than that?? If you're gonna do that, then use the Beautiful Town ordinance. It's like a timetraveler's most best friend xD

I believe this is not true. If you tt back while a villager is in boxes, they will leave after 1 day of tting.

EDIT:
Ooops!!
{Excuse my dyslexia ;-;}

my friend lost a villager from timetraveling back i believe?? it was my dreamie he was planning to give me too. (its okay because the dreamie moved into my town the next day tho)

though im not sure if there are any risks but everyone says no so

nope, tting backwards always counts as only one day. if a villager moves out after tting backwards, then they were already planning on moving out.
