I like Jambette. She's okay and she's not one of my dreamies, but I feel like she's supposed to represent the Normal people -- you know, the ones that don't look like super models -- and individuality. I mean, has anyone ever thought that she wears make-up because she likes the way it looks?
Maybe she's confident enough that she really doesn't care what anyone else thinks of her. That's what is truly important, after all.
Liking yourself. One thing I have learned from growing up, though, is that if you try to stand out and be an individual, then people tend to like you less.
And as if I could possibly make this post sound any cornier, I'm going to quote the X-Men here: "Mankind has always feared what it doesn't understand."
