Does your island have any gravestones? Why?

No, but only because I want my island to be peaceful and happy. I used to have them in Lucky’s backyard though when I used to have him as a villager

yeah my island has a few, one of which is meant to represent the grave of a long distance friend of mine that killed herself back in August of 2017, then the other three are meant to represent my three dead grandparents (two grandfathers and one grandmother.)

My dead friend was someone I dated for a bit, and was even my inspiration for becoming a lacto-ovo vegetarian.

Keeping a hidden grave for my dear Tortimer until the day he comes back into the game, hahahahah.

I have a small memorial area on my island with three gravestones surrounded by flowers. The gravestones are memorials to my grandmother, my dad, and my little brother.

I don't but if I did it would be for my three dogs who sadly passed (one was yeears ago, one was last year, and one was right after my birthday).

I personally didn't use any gravestones nor do I plan to. They make me too uncomfortable for a cutesy wholesome game such as Animal Crossing, but I do appreciate the creativity people use them with, I've seen cemeteries that look quite elaborate! I'm going for a fairycore island myself, and I do love a more girly/cutesy aesthetic, so graves just don't have a spot in my island!

I have a few of the Japanese style ones done up in the regular and mossy, I had a hidden corner on my Japanese section of my island (outdoor bath and such) so I hid them in the back corner for if anyone goes back there!

I have a cemetery with John Wick's wife's (Helen) grave, and a stone marker under a tree in the yard where his (dog from John Wick: Chapter One) dog Daisy is buried.

Yes. There is a grave in Raddle's garden.

There isn't a deep reason for it. It's just a style choice I like. e.g. I have a coffin tattooed on my calf in real life.

I've got 5...one for each villager that has left, and from whom I've received a picture.

Yes, I've got a little cemetery! I have mostly western headstones, and two eastern style headstones. They've all been customized to be mossy, to imply that it's more of a historic cemetery (inspired by the historic cemeteries in Savannah, GA)

I just wanted to fill in that space, and it turned out great!! if you want to see it, my dream address is in my signature

I Have two Graves on my Island. One is my Mother and the other is my Cat Name Sith. They Pass away before the Game came out. But the main one on top of the hill Is for my mother as she Allways help me FInding items by checking them off the player guide or Print out or Callout when it time to hunt for a Fish or bug.

None so far, thinking of adding it on my island though for decoration.

I'm planning on building a cemetery and railroad on the north my town, to represent real-life locations for me. Many people associate graveyards with death and sadness, but I always felt they should be peaceful and have gardens inside to represent new life. I will probably add lots of candles and trees and keep it a quiet spot on my island for relaxation.

i personally don't bc it doesn't really match with what i have going for my island. though it's always such a cool surprise to see whenever i visit islands that has creative usage of the gravestones with whatever design theme the island has.

I have a cemetery on my island! it’s not finished yet, but the Western-Style Stone looks really good

Not yet but I'm definitely incorporating a graveyard in my haunted area eventually. I'm just waiting to be done breeding my flowers so I'll have space to move things around on my island. Those blue roses are a pain and the process takes up too much space so I can't really do anything with my island at the moment :(

I don't... I never lost anybody so close that I want to add to the game, and it wouldn't make sense with my overall vibe to add it without meaning
