Does TTing back and forth between two days reset moving ping chances?

Yeah this wasn't very clear.
Say it's the 23rd and I want someone to move but they don't, so I time travel to the 24th and they still don't.
Will there be a chance of them asking on the 23rd if I travel back again, or does it only work to keep moving forward?

I don't think the date matters when they ping you? I would say to TT forward but be careful cause you don't want to lose any of your favourite villagers. The fastes way to know if someone is moving is by talking to a snooty villager since they are more likely to spread gossip or a normal villager. If they tell you a villager is moving and it's the villager that you want gone then wait for them to ping you. They can ping you in one day. All you have to do is get a wet suit and swim to the farthest corner of your world and keep your ds open for 20 minutes then run past them again. If it's anothe villager that's moving, then they'll ping you. Does this make sense?;-;
Let's say, normally villagers will ping you about moving every 4~5 days. So on 23rd no one pinged (1st day). and 24th no one pinged. (2nd day). If you travel back to 23rd (or 22nd), it'd still count as going forward 1 day so that's 3rd day without any moving pings. So if you TT one or two more times, you're likely to get someone's moving ping since that's 4, 5th day..
hope I'm making sense ;__; make sure you are talking to every villager a few times each day you travel to make sure no one is moving. (use the moving & rumor guide)

Hi I think if you TT day by day and check for pings then if someone hasn't pinged yet and you're suspicious check for villager rumors
