Does the visitor come with different clothes from AC: amiibo Festival?

I just tapped K.K. and he appeared on my campground with the paperboy cap and a striped shirt, but when Wisp possessed him he was naked with the guitar only. I tapped Digby yesterday and he was with the blue shirt at the campground...

Can someone confirm that they change clothes based on the clothes unlocked in the AC: amiibo Festival?

The first pic is he when I summoned him and the second one is when I entered his RV. I have this second outfit unlocked in my AC: amiibo Festival, so I was wondering if he uses this different clothes for everyone else too...
Can someone confirm?

I think it's because they all show up in the RV with their "casual" clothes rather that the standard outfits (or lack thereof) that you'd usually see on them. Like when you visit a special character's house in HHD.
