Does the Island trees regenerate?

I cut down all my trees on my island (on purpose to catch fish easier), will they grow back over time? I cant make them reappear because I cant bring items with me on the boat.

I don't believe they do - you have to manually plant the trees.

No, but you can take fruit from the tours (as long as it's not the Labyrinth Tour) and plant those. At least I assume you can. I haven't tried planting them but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

And yeah they don't regenerate.. but as Melodie said, you can get the fruit from the tours and plant them back on the island.
