No. right now it means nothing other than Nintendo decided to make the March artwork be Animal Crossing

Japan got the game in November..they could have just as easily made it the November artwork. It's just the series they chose for the month of March.

That aside, the earliest I would expect it is March. Don't hold your breath though. Nintendo loves to disappoint us.
