Hello every one I was wondering if you cover up your town with patterns does it affects snow as well ? cause I was planning on covering up my town with these nice patterns that I found to make my town look nice.

But I was wondering if it affects snow like can I still be able to build a snowmen etc or will the patterns make it impossible for me to build a snowmen since they cover up the ground. So if some one know the answer to this please let me know asap it would greatly be appreciated.

Yep, patterns cover up the snow. But Im not sure if it prevents snowballs from spawning. Im sure you can roll them over the patterns still. You aren't gonna cover everything completely, right?
Someone take over

Sorry, I felt pressured to say something useful but I didn't know so I just yelled.

LOL cardboardo xD

This is tough to answer. Not too many ppl are in winter yet. Wish I had an answer though

I remember in AC:WW when you rolled snowballs over paths, they became smaller..but then again, that was Wild World, I don't know how it works in New Leaf.

This might have been because the grass/snow was worn down beneath the patterns. I remember in CF, there would only be snow in the areas that previously had dirt instead of grass.
