Does fertilizer only limited to one use per day?

Whenever I plant a fertilizer next to a pair of hybrids, the next day will definitely have one appear somewhere very close to where I've planted it. But I've noticed when I used two or more, there's still only one hybrid appear close to where I've planted the fertilizer.
Does anyone use more than one fertilizer per day and noticed there's anything different from using more fertilizers?

I think it's limited to 1 bc in my experience only 1 fertilizer has ever produced a hybrid in my case as well.
