Does anyone think they should make more "Junior" characters?

I don't know about adding more juniors. Having too many 'teen/child' NPCs would be kinda off. They are cute, no doubt.

I'm personally after more elders- especially villagers. It could add some variety to our towns, like the oldies in gamecube!

I'm not a fan of Kappin so his kid could take over if his role was put back in the game. Otherwise nah. I like CJ and Flick a lot but we don't need to replace everyone.

Agreed with k e r f u f f l e and Cakecrazy909, I'd rather see more variety from NPCs and to see a few more old NPCs return vs new ones. I preferred Joan to Daisy Mae and Chip to CJ.

I actually think that the addition of CJ Daisy and Flick is enough. When I first saw the trailers featuring these new npc it made me realize that they’re probably replacing the old guard and make me a little sad about it. Also made me think that in later games they might, emphasis on might, replace tom nook isabelle blathers etc. Like timmy and tommy will be doing nooks job or something. Highly doubt but not impossible.
Also having so many young nps makes me feel old (I already am). As though I do not connect with them as much, like CJ and his search for internet points ;-;

It would be pretty boring to just have a bunch of Juniors. I enjoy the returning characters but I'm glad they chose to mix it up a bit with the ones they did replace! I wouldn't have been upset if they decided on a fresh face over Isabelle, she's cute but I really enjoyed Tom Nook doing the morning announcements.

And I’d be interested in seeing Leila take over whatever the Kapp’n family business is.
I like CJ alot and Daisy Mae is cute (I like the sweet naivety of her taking over for Joan 'until her knees get better'), but I kinda feel like we've got enough if you count other related youngsters such as Lottie and Leila. I'd prefer old characters get reintroduced first, although the exception is adding a purple kid for Reese and Cyrus because cuteness
I very much hope they do. I hated getting sexually harassed every time I wanted to go to the island in New Leaf.
