Does Anyone Play Stardew Valley?

I have Stardew Valley, but I never figured out how to get into it. I think I need someone who can explain it to me while I start playing it.

I have it on Steam and Switch, but my Switch save is much farther along (Year 2). It's not something I play frequently, but it's nice to play every now and then. I have to re-access the game each time I go back to figure out what I was doing last -- almost like going back to a super long RPG after months of not playing xD

I owned Stardew on PC, Xbox, and Switch over the years. I played the most on Switch, just because it's the most accessible. I think there have been a lot of updates since I stopped playing it...so it should be worth checking out again sometime, but, I don't really have the desire to play it now that Animal Crossing is an option. Still...it's definitely a great game. I'm sure I'll get the itch to play again sometime.

I do! I'm not terribly far into it, I think I'm in the first week or so of my first summer? I have it on my computer and my switch. I definitely play it more on my switch, though! I think it's a really sweet game but it's been on the back burner for me since Animal Crossing came out. I should get back to it!

i am always on and off with stardew. i find that mods which help keep track of what everyone likes and where they are at any given time really helps, as well as being able to run around faster. having said that my furthest save file is only in y2 oops

I have the PC version and I'm about halfway into Year 4. It's a really good game, but I haven't played much of it since I got New Horizons.

I own it in several places but I just never got into it! When it released, I was really aching for a new Rune Factory game and that's really all I could focus on and any time I try to play it, it just doesn't do anything new enough in the genre for me to get too hooked into it.

I wish I could get into it though, it seems so chill.

Tbh I'm not sure why but it never really appealed to me and I couldn't get through the first year every time I tried playing it. This is despite the fact that I've spent numerous hours (and in-game years) on Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons and Rune Factory games...

I have the Switch version and I haven't gotten very far yet, I think. I currently own 1 chicken and I'm almost at the end of the first year.

Yes, it's very fun. I have 500 hours on the PC version. I just love starting from scratch and designing a new farm, and the grind relaxes me.
It feels very much like a Nintendo game, a mix of Harvest Moon and Fantasy Life I'd say. I can't wait for the physical release of the Switch version.

I have Stardew Valley and I like it but the progression bit slow for my tastes, even though the days are very short and fly by rlly quickly. I haven’t played it in a while, so I should definitely pick it back up again though.
