Does anyone plan on not building their campsite? (or regrets building one)

I regret building my campsite because all it does it make me sad when i see cute villagers that i can't move into my town since i already have my 10. I try to resist going into the campsite but curiosity always gets the best of me. I wish the campsite was demolish-able.

its sooo hard to stay at 9, i cant think of which of my 10 i want to let move away. AND then theres the risky part of staying at 9 and getting void villagers from wifi.

I regret building it because I put it in the crappiest area possible and you can't demolish it.

I decided not to build a campsite because the one place in my town I would've been okay with building it at, Isabelle said it was too close to the plaza. T_T A campsite area wouldn't match my town feel too much, so I was really only okay with building it at that one secluded spot separated from the rest of town, and so when I couldn't build it there, I figured I could just get my dream neighbors and camping-themed items through trading online.

I think a campsite/igloo area in a good location with some fitting PWPs and trees and such can be really cute, though! And having a camper to visit and play games with might break up the monotony a bit for some.

I have not tried this but I seem to recall reading a post last week that said you can get rid of it by starting a new character and telling Nook you want to place your house right next to it.

I have the perfect location and love the campsite! Even if I don't go in it when villagers are there...the tent still looks great

yeah, ive been making my campsite a very foresty area in my town. might add a park later

I built the campsite in both my towns for the purposes of being able to recruit campers (and possibly getting their special items). I do wish the campsite was destructible though. Idk why it isn't. Same for other buildings, I guess. Once I'm done with what I need it for, I'd like to be able to get rid of it in my second town (which I want a more modern theme). ah well

Aha, I refuse to even look in the tent when I already have 10 villagers because I just KNOW the camper will be someone adorable that I've been trying to get for ages ._.

That being said, I don't regret building my campsites as I have gotten a few cute villagers from them :3 Especially once I started using the reset trick.

yeah. i usually tell people i trade stuff with not to have voided someone. or i just don't bring my 3ds out :3

yeah I definitely don't regret it either. I got some really good villagers from both my campsites too. I just wish once I got my ten villagers I can get rid of it.

Maybe next game there should be something on main street that you can recruit villagers from so that if you don't want to take up space in your town with the campsite you don't have to. hmm

I built a campsite in my main town just so I can cycle out villagers before I moved in all my villagers. But I got smart this time and built it on a corner piece of my map by the beach. It's surrounded by my perfect cherry orchard I don't bother checking it since I have my 10 dreamies and never curious on whomever is in it.

But I'm not building it in my 2nd town since I hardly use that game and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I have 4 other dreamies there with randoms for now.

^ Same. I don't regret building it since I've gotten some villagers I really love from it. Also, words cannot express the excitement I feel whenever I don't have 10 and see the orange tent. But I do regret where I placed it. I don't know what I was thinking when I decided on the location.

Chrissy, Bob, Cookie, Goose and especially Cube would have never been my residents of the campsite had never have been built.

I had lucky yesterday, kinda sad but, thems the breaks i suppose

yeah, I don't so much regret the location of my camp as much as the fact that I had to build the police station so close bc it wouldn't fit anywhere else. It sort of ruined my plans of making a little forest area around my camp. Where is yours?
