From the second I got this game, I knew I was going to do exactly what I had done in WW and CF: lay my town out with paths. So when I was ready, I grabbed some nice QR codes and began laying. Now in past games I'd gotten creative (made street and sidewalk patterns, brick and bush/grass patterns, etc.) but in THIS game...SHRUBS ARE AVAILABLE!!!
I didn't know until I bought some red and yellow hibiscus ones from the island, but when I planted them I was very pleased. No more drawing crappy 2D bush patterns! Today my Nooklings FINALLY upgraded and merged with Leif, and he sells 2 (and better) shrubs a day. So now I can beautify my town just as I had imagined from day 1. It's going to take a lot of time traveling, but it'll be worth it.
Now here's where the flowers come in. When I was laying out paths, I also put a bunch of flowers alongside them, so that I could plan everything out, space-wise. Well my town is filled with flowers. Like, absolutely filled. I was never good at estimating, but I'm gonna say I have around 200 flowers, maybe more maybe less idk. You're probably wondering how one came across so many flowers; the answer is simple. I, like the high-class person I am, simply went on various Island Tours and stole every flower in sight. Classy, right?
Since I unlocked Leif and am in the process of collecting enough shrubs, I no longer need these flowers. I'm just going to dig them up, a good waste of 200-or so flowers. If anyone wants/needs a bunch of random flowers, let me know and take as many as you want. Seriously. Please. I'M BEGGING YOU. Too many flowers.
Oh, one more thing. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE RED AND WHITE ROSES NEAR THE TOWN HALL.Thank you.
