I have three: Sydney, Olivia and Walker. With so many villagers though, I can see why most people have 10+ dreamies.

I have a lot of villagers that I like, but the only villager I never want to let go of is Francine.

I actually have no more dreamies to search for. I used to have 10+ dreamies, but after getting into trading on here, I decided I'd lower my standards, and ended up having, what, 9? the only thing I'm working at is getting Coco back. (I lost her and my friend is holding her, so now I'm trying to slowly cycle in my main town)

My view on it. I didn't pick out who I absolutely needed. Well, I did want Aurora, and I've had her for over a year. I wanted her mostly because we have the same name.
