Does anyone have all the DIYs already?

I have all the current ones. I haven't gotten Celeste zodiac DIYs out of season or any other not in season DIY as I don't TT. I played pretty much all day for a while and visited lots of other islands to obtain/trade DIYs. The floral ones were the last to be completed.

I have 284 so far. Not bad for no online trading and no TTing, I feel.

What exactly is this trick?

you need to make 8 players/residents on the island. to do that, you need to create a separate "account" for each, which is that top left circle thing on the switch

you login with your main resident then go to the beach and pick up the note bottle. then you bring up your nookphone, scroll to the "call a resident" app, and choose the second resident. give it a second and it will set up the two multi-player for you. when you bring the other human players into the game, it will generate a note bottle for that new player
you can pick up that note bottle with your main player, go to "call a resident" again and choose the third player, rinse and repeat until you get 8 note bottles in total

i'm not sure if you can do this with a switch lite, because the multiplayer uses the two joycons (one for each player). and i don't have the pro controller so i'm only able to do it one at a time

p.s. you don't need to put down the tents for the other players! just save and quit after tom nook finishes talking, he won't force you to put down a tent on the island

I have 500/591 of the DIYs. All the non-seasonal/Celeste DIYs have been gotten, and I'm working on the Celeste DIYs by visiting islands with Celeste daily. I'm not too worried about the seasonal ones, since we haven't hit those seasons yet in real time for the northern hemisphere, and I'd rather get them myself than try to trade for them right now, given that I don't TT.
