does anyone else have villager bias

im sort of snooty with regards to villagers who were just introduced in ACNL
like i just have this superiority complex about villagers who have been around since population growing or even wild world

I don't care at all if they're new or not...
Of course I have a preference for the villagers that were dear to me in previous games,
but I also LOVE some of the new ones like Zell, Shep and Papi.

No, I started with New Leaf so I kinda can't. I can tell some villagers are kept at least slightly popular because of their oldness and nostalgia, in particular Bob, Tangy, and Goldie. Maybe I'm just seeing things that aren't there though, IDK.

I think I'm more biased in favor of new villagers, because I've been playing since the Gamecube version and don't want to see the same faces. New mayor, new town, new adventures, etc.

Yeah, my only real dreamies are the villagers I had in wild world.

I'm not, probably because I can barely remember the previous games (I played Gamecube and City Folk but didn't do much on them)

I'm pretty sure almost all of my favourites are new to new leaf, just because I love deer so much ~~<3

I did play wild world but I didn't get nearly as attached to my villagers, the only ones I really liked were Olivia and Nan.
