I love it; I love helping people get their villagers.
Heck, I love hoarding villagers for myself and friends and friends of friends.
But it's kind of making me a bit blah lately.
I just want to get my last villager out and reset.
But I keep getting high tiers moving in that I know people want so I'd feel bad just resetting.

I really appreciate people who can cycle and keep their composure.

Freakin' Ankha is back and after my last cycling incident with her, I want to just reset without getting her out. It took me ages to get her out last time...

Unless you turn your town to cycling town and give those people their dreamies, it never gonna end. Demands is here and there so my suggestion, just reset your town and play the game for yourself =x

I don't get burned out on cycling.
I get burned out on the ungrateful lil pieces of **** there are. >.>
That is what almost made me stop cycling completely... then decided to not stop since I know there are still some good nice people out there who deserve to get their dreamies...
But I'm not sure now many ungrateful people who don't know how to read I can really take before I say **** it and stop.

Sorry... I just have been getting really irritated by really stupid people lately who are lazy and ungrateful and feel they are entitled to things. -eyebrow twitch-

Anyways... If you want to reset. I say reset.
I had that bit of a problem with Cycle before I reset to Cy City... I kept extending my deadline, but after while I decided just to reset since I knew I would get the villagers again anyways because I don't keep any villagers.

Yeah... I definitely know that feeling all too well. It kind of kills the warm fuzzies you get from helping. I'm trying to get as many villagers out before I reset. I'm calling it quits once my baby Bella asks to leave. That's final. I wanna just reset because I have my own villagers to pick up. I love helping people out because I've gotten so many dreamies from people on here and I want to give back. But I think I'mma call it quits at least for now. (I love your new angle where you also adopt villagers that would otherwise be voided. That's really neat.)

What both above me said. I had to stop cycling. I got people PMing me randomly for high tier people I already sold, jsut saying they loved them. I had people guilting me. Someone told me I shouldnt reset because I had peoples dreamies in my town.....
I couldnt stand how rude and mean and guilting people could be. It hurt because I wanted to help people.
When I finally reset I was SOOO happy ;A;! <3
I think you should reset when you choose to <3 It really restores the fun of the game and makes you happy <3 <3

Thanks. =3
First round of undesirables just ended actually... wish I could start a new round but next week I will be mostly busy so I won't have time to try and buy someone's dreamie for them... so it'll have to wait. =/

I mean. I have people all the time saying I'm rude or a horrible person.
Like really?
I host giveaways ALL. THE. TIME. ... maybe not here since I haven't been on TBT all that long, only a couple months, but a lot on tumblr. XP
And I even freaking post that my cycle town doesn't even get myself my dream villagers but is used strictly to get others their dream villagers. >.>
So I spent my own money to buy a second cart. and spend my personal time on something that hardly even benefits me since I don't even get any villagers I want out of it.

Ok... rant over I think.

omg they call you that ;A; im so sorry! I dont understand it ;_; Your trying to help and be nice, and you get mean comments. Especially if you void a character, then 10 minutes to 2 hours later, people are angry you voided. They expect you to wait for someone to claim them, or wait for them to get online and message them. I cant do it for so many people ;________; I just gave up.
Thankfully my bf likes all the creepy/scary looking tier 5 basically villagers. Like Hopper, Cole, Cube and just strange looking weird villagers.

OH BTW I SAW YOU HAVE THE SWEET SETS ;A; How do you get that set, it looks AMAZING!

Thanks. =3

Thank god... I thought I was the only one getting that... I literally thought I was doing something wrong. :/
You're basically saying everything I've been thinking for the last couple of days.

2 hours later?
Try 2 ****ing weeks later they are asking to adopt them and they get pissed when you point out to them that the post of them in boxes is 2 weeks old ((and the post is in fact time stamped)) and that 5 other villagers have already been in boxes and either adopted or voided after that post.
Yeah.

Anyways...
HOPPER IS AWESOME D<
... I had him and Gwen in the Gamecube game that my brother and I shared... We thought they were the cutest couple. =3

And Sweet Set is sold by Gracie Grace during the Winter or Fall ((can't remember which)) after you unlock the Emporium ((last shop upgrade)) and is unorderable.

I know... It's really awful. =/
You try to be a nice, good person and help people... and all people do is call you an awful, horrible person who deserves to have bad things happen to you.
How does that make any sense at all?

And I really hate it when you have a reserve for someone... and when it comes time for them to pick them up and their like "oh yeah sorry I already got them I forgot to tell you."
So much that I even made a rule for my new Cy City Cycling's blog that reads ::

"If you are a reserve and have gotten the villager elsewhere or no longer want the villager, notify me before I contact you about picking them up.
—- I could have spent that time notifying you and waiting for a response in actually finding someone who wants the villager. It’s very rude to waste someone’s time. "

Since this happened to me... a lot. And it really is irritating.

I don't mind cycling, that's not what burns me out. It's rewarding when you know they are going to a good home. It's heart breaking when you give one away though and you find the person turning around and selling asid villager on another site who just told you it was their dreamie :(

The people you encountered when cycling are out of order. Blackmailing you? Demanding stuff from you? That's absolutely ridiculous.

I love how you're keeping at it to help others, but you don't deserve to be treated like this. I agree with snowxyuki about resetting the game and having it for yourself.

I'm not sure what the average age is in the site but I know it's difficult for me to constantly keep up with the threads as I have a job and we all live in slightly different time zones. I encountered a cycling thread where if you don't pick up a villager in 5 to 10 minutes, they get voided. I know I don't have that opportunity to just sit and refresh the page over and over again.

I appreciate what cyclers do and understand how hard it is since I do it myself but I also find myself going for cyclers that are a bit more lenient and fit my schedule. I also think temporary cycling is a bad idea because you're only planning to cycle until you get YOUR dream villagers back which I know sounds good but you'll always get more people than you expected to request a villager.

No one deserves to be treated horribly over a video game and I understand that you want to make people happy but you should just put yourself first for awhile and then if you want to help others without consequences, go for it.

I've felt pretty burnt out lately. I haven't been cycling lately and WHEN I do I mess up my cycle and then spend hours trying to fix it.

i get burned out definitely. i'm sick of people not reading the rules! i'm guilty of it when i first joined this site but people who have been on here for a while even do it! i spent money on this to help people and i don't get much thanks :x barely anyone really gives me a wi-fi rating. i'm contemplating resetting and keeping it for myself after i give someone back their villager and get rid of the popular ones because it makes me really pissed lmao.

This is why I stopped cycling. I was surprised how many people were rude! Coming to my town, shoving me aside and then just getting the villager, not even saying hello. Now, having said that, there have been people who are so grateful for the help. I guess that's just humanity, right? :). What helped me is cycling but not having a thread. I do giveaways on reddit, but only individual villagers. I think the pressure comes from people stalking you because they see the full roster of villagers in your town. When i do individual villager giveaways, i can go as slow or as fast as i want.

For you, i would say reset. Its your game, you should do what you want. Sounds like you did more then your fair share of being kind to others.

Yeah. I have 3 cycling towns, but recently I've been feeling lazy and just let my XL's battery die so I have an excuse.

Oh man I cycled villagers for myself and others for a week and then I had to stop because it was so annoying. People don't read the rules or just never reply to you. You're stuck with a pretty good villager in boxes and you have no idea what to do, lol.

I remember I had this person that kept asking to reserve a villager for themselves that wasn't in my town when it was clearly stated in my first post that I wouldn't reserve villagers for people that weren't currently in my town. After the third time I told them to read the rules (in no way was I rude, I simply told them to read the rules) and their response was 'Woah, sassy? Stay classy.'

I just. I just stared at my computer screen in disbelief for a minute. It was... so surreal and immature. It totally put me off and I didn't feel like cycling villagers for people anymore.

I've had good experience from people. They adopt your villagers and they thank you and everything is fine, but seriously? Cycling isn't a walk in the park; you have to be careful not to void wanted villagers and you have to wait for people to respond to you. It takes time and people should be grateful.

I know how you feel, just know that you don't owe anyone anything, really. What you're doing is super nice but once you've had enough, it's enough.

Good luck!
