And curious as to what your seasonal areas are if you have them and what you do.
I've got a play section that's on phantom of the Opera right now that I will rotate out sometimes based on the month when I'm not doing something else, and I usually decorate my Star rock Park, the entrance, the area around the main square and the regular park. The regular parts and ice skating rink in the winter and a park in the summer, the main square sometimes I'll put stalls around it and yeah. Wondering what other decorations you all do seasonally?
Maybe I'm the only one but I figured I want to ask anyway
No, but when the time does come, I usually add some seasonal items in certain areas that work with it. The question where I place them is a different story.
I hadn't before this year (or more specifically, since around Toy Day last year), but now I'm hooked! I try to just do a little each day in preparation. I slowly started phasing out my spring decorations in may and have gradually been making my island a lot more summery, and it's been really fun to watch the island transform!
currently I have a beach volleyball area set up on one of my beaches, some of the bridal items scattered around the island for June and tons of plumeria and hydrangea bushes for the flowering season! I'm working on making an outdoor market style area and sprucing up some of the more empty parts of my island. I'm not even fully done designing the island, so being able to throw some seasonal decorations as I work to put it together has really helped my motivation
For the most part, I don't think I did. Maybe once for a tbt event, but that was it. Decorating seasonally might be a hassle for me since I might have to fix areas of my island to add seasonal decor.
Only in front the town's center and my house. Everywhere else, I keep it the same throughout the year.
I don't play as much anymore, so often its still the same as well.
Yes I do! I have a few places on my island where I change the decorations depending on the season and I love it! It gives so much personality to the area.
I do! At one point I had some areas of my island i would change up for the season. Like changing decorations, flowers, even changing out shrubs. But that got to be too much work.
Now i just have one section of the island i change out decorations based on the seasons.
there’s a little area in front of my resident services where i would keep a fountain in the middle. i would change that out for seasonal decorations, like the pumpkin carriage, christmas tree, etc.
now i just forgo the designated area and just add smaller seasonal items all around! i think it’s more fun that way cause now my whole island has something festive rather than just the one spot :3
the area in front of my residential services buildings and near to the airport and shops i often decorated for each season, a lot of my villagers hung out around that area so it was nice to get the seasonal decor out and feel like they were celebrating the holidays.
did have an area towards the back of my island that i often used for tbt decorating events so consequently that quite often ended up changing decorations for each season.
I do! One of my favorite things to do in acnh is decorate for the season or holiday! I have a couple dedicated areas for seasonal decor and I plan a few more whenever I get around to working on my island again. And that theater stage idea sounds really cute! I may have to... Ahem... borrow that idea.
