I sometimes prefer some of the GameCube hourly music than New Leaf, especially 4 PM (I hate the 4 PM song in New Leaf!) I definitely prefer the GameCube one. Does anyone else listen to the GameCube hourly songs with headphones while playing Animal Crossing New Leaf? Or is it just me lol.

I like the soundtracks for both games so I do not do this, but when I'm trying to relax I find the Gamecube soundtrack on youtube and chill out with the calming music until I can sleep.

GC soundtrack is more nostalgic and therefore more calming for me and I still have my old GC town. However New Leaf music is still calming and I just prefer playing New Leaf, so I dont. I will say one night after a bit of a buzz I listened to all of the hourly GC music on YouTube though lol.

Don't get me wrong, the New Leaf soundtrack is great, but the GC version music is great for the soul. ◠‿◠
