Kinda. I've developed my own ways of getting to certain keys though. In elementary we had a program called Type to learn. It was supposed to teach you to type the "right" way. In reality, kids just enjoyed pressing the shift key rapidly because the on screen voice sounded like it was say, "*censored.2.0*." XD
My class' main enjoyment was using the wrong key to make it repeat the correct action when the right finger was the middle one.
Lol, kids did that too. XD
That program also happened to be the biggest load of crap at actually teaching you to use the right keys, so kids needed to amuse themselves. The so called "games" were the least enjoyable thing ever.
They basically consisted of typing keys to fill a bar.
THAT SHOWED YOU WHERE YOUR SPACESHIP CRASHED. INTRIGUING, RIGHT?
There was no motivation whatsoever, seeing as in my class, it didn't matter what level you got to, because "everyone learns at different speeds".

It was also sorta seen as a punishment by my class because of the "no fun" part, and the fact it was a once a week thing in a English class, so everyone hated those days.

I remember where all the keys are after doing so much hw on the computer and chatting on gmail so much by now. I can type without the home keys but pretty accurately

Haha... I had type to learn at our school too! In Jr. High we have Microtype, which really helped me with homerow more than type to learn.

I was trained to follow in the art of "asdf jkl;" for all of my middle and high school life.

So yeah, I use the home keys.

i use the home row keys.
but i keep my finger on the last key that i typed. like i dont go back to the home row keys,.

I've just memorized where all the keys are on the keyboard. It helps a lot, and I don't even have to look at the keyboard.

I mostly use my index fingers but i also use the rest of my fingers as well
So no i don't type the correct way :]
