Does anybody type the home row keys? If you don't then what is your way of typing? Mine is just typing with my index fingers on the keyboard which I got taught back in grade three using the 98's. xD Ultra fail, I was making the worst topic name ever with about a twenty mistakes.

My way is using my index fingers. I type fast this way. xD The home row way is kinda slow for me. My whole family thinks it's weird typing this way.

Same. My teachers didn't care the way we typed. If we typed the way we typed then that is how we typed. I also type very fast with my index fingers. But sometimes I occasionally hit a key with my middle finger. That is rarely though.

I sorta do it subconsciously on some keys, but most of the keys are with my index fingers or the wrong ones that are most comfortable for me. I hated being taught the "right" way to type. I can't learn habits when they're forced on me.

Yeah, I'm pretty fast at it really. I never look at the keyboard to type letters, especially since this is the 3rd year I've had Keyboarding class. I've pretty much mastered it now.

I hate home row style xS
but I usually just use all of my fingers except for my thumb (which isn't really a finger) and put them where I need them to xD it's that simple, their never still.

Kinda. I've developed my own ways of getting to certain keys though. In elementary we had a program called Type to learn. It was supposed to teach you to type the "right" way. In reality, kids just enjoyed pressing the shift key rapidly because the on screen voice sounded like it was say, "*censored.2.0*." XD

My class' main enjoyment was using the wrong key to make it repeat the correct action when the right finger was the middle one.

That program also happened to be the biggest load of crap at actually teaching you to use the right keys, so kids needed to amuse themselves. The so called "games" were the least enjoyable thing ever.

I was "taught" that was so i have always typed that way...

We had to take a typing class in second and third grade to learn to type that way!

They basically consisted of typing keys to fill a bar.
