Which of the two do you consider the best?

I recently moved Lobo into my Island, and I had no idea how much I needed this character. He's become my #1 favorite cranky at the moment, but I still also have a soft spot for Dobie. If I include Dobie in my Island, along with Vivian, Audie and Skye my island might just become a wolf island, but I digress.

Who's you're favorite of the two?

I've had Lobo in NL and loved him, so I invited his amiibo to my island yesterday and the renders of the hideous purple some dipstick decided to make him, were understated.

He's the purplest purple I've ever seen.

So I won't be moving him in until the creators stop allowing their grandkids to design the villagers.

Go with Dobie.
Lobo, as we knew him, is gone.

I think Dobie is more unique but then I was never a fan of Lobo.

Dobie. As far as I'm concerned, he's the only true cranky villager in the series. All other crankys are fake, don't @ me

I prefer Dobie because cool wolf grandpa. If you dress him with the detective set, he looks like those old Japanese detective anime protag.

Both are pretty close for me but I'd give Dobie the slight win. Mostly due to him being one of the most unique villagers with his age and being a true cranky.

I prefer both, but Dobie looks nice for a cranky for his old appearance.

I didn't know about Dobie until recently and I love him already. I love the grumpy grandpa vibes. Once I get him and Roscoe they'll be neighbours and be grumpy together

I ran into him twice on mystery islands and once in the campsite and didn't take him since I already had a cranky. But when it was time to let my cranky one go I decided to get either Fang or Dobie. Thankfully I saw someone giving him away and I instantly nabbed him. Best decision and he gave me his photo now.

I love them both very much, they're both in my top 5 crankies.
Dobie is very unique, and one of the few villagers with that "very old" feeling.
And Lobo is just beautiful with his peculiar eyes and purple fur, plus I share my birthday with him hahaha

I've always been fond of Lobo. He's one of my favorite Cranky villagers and one of my absolute favorite villagers in general because of his awesome eyes, the selling points for me for both him and Freya. Those two just really stand out in a good way. Meanwhile, Dobie has that unique elderly appearance.

If I had to pick one, I'd pick Lobo. You can't really go wrong with either, though. Both are really great designs, as far as I'm concerned.

Dobie is cool and all, but Lobo is and will forever be my favorite cranky, so my vote goes to him.

Dobie is just the perfect Animal Crossing grandpa villager. I saw him on my first island when looking for villager number 7, and not having had a Cranky and always thinking he looked cool, I took him on, and have not once regretted it. He won't be a permanent villager but deffo a long time one. He is awesome!

Clearly Lobo. I like that Dobie actually represents what a cranky should be like (old, wrinkled and so on), but Lobo is better looking. I also had him in Wild World, so I guess I must be biased towards him.
