In my town two towns back, almost all of my villagers would drop by except the most recent move in. I was good friends with them all, so that meant that they'd all constantly drop by. I think it was due to the april fools event that I became such good friends with them. I mean it was nice at times for villagers to take time out of their day to visit you, but unwelcomed at others. It's not really a hassle though because I can just leave straight away. I hope I achieve that kind of friendship level in my newer towns.
