Do your villagers invite you/send letters when leaving?

I'm not sure if this has happened to any of you but it has not happened to me... yet. Have any of your villagers invited you to their house or wanted to come to your house? It was one of my favorite things in New Leaf but none of my villagers have asked so far Also when my villagers leave they do not send me letters either! And we had good relationships .. has any of these happened to you guys? Maybe I should be forming stronger bonds? Lmfaoo...

It never happened to me either, and i have their pics so i know they like me enough XD I don't think these features are in the game yet, but i could be wrong.

Sadly, not even once. I also had villagers moving that were my best friends, but no letter. It is kind of sad actually because it was such a nice detail.
Haven't been invited to a villagers house or visited either. Those features are not in the game anymore I guess.

No, none of mine have sent me anything and it makes me really sad tbh I loved keeping all the goodbye letters of villagers who moved away in acnl, esp when they sent me their pics with their letters
