i feel like i've seen people whose amiibo villagers (regular or RV) never ever move out unless they're forcefully kicked out by another amiibo, and people whose amiibo villagers move out like anyone else. it strikes me as really odd that such a significant game mechanic just isn't there for some people. i'm in the former category, but i'm pretty sure i've seen the latter category (specifically, i've seen some of vinesauce vinny's videos of welcome amiibo, and i'm pretty sure one of his amiibo villagers moved out or at least requested to move out on her own).

i'm just making this poll to see the actual difference. i really wish it was just the same for everybody (i personally would benefit if my amiibos could move out without needing to be immediately replaced, and even if my permanent amiibo villager june moved out, i still have her card so i can just slip her right back in)...i wonder if it's a weird glitch?

All of my villagers are from amiibos so they like to try moving out all the time like regular villagers.

I have about 3 or 4 in my town, and one of them has asked me to move before. I think this was after the other 5 or 6 non-Amiibo villagers had already asked, so one of the Amiibo ones would've been next in line.

Word is, and what seems to be proven true over and over again, is that the more amiibo -who do ask to leave- the more often they will ask.

For example, I used to have 5 amiibo villagers living in town at one time, Claude, Sylvanna, Pudge, Chrissy and one other I forget. Muffy?

Well I know for a fact Claude was the first one I moved in throu the card, he's just so cute. An entire year went by in the game before Claude ever asked me to leave. None of the others ever have. Probably cause he spent the longest in my town compared to all the others.

You could go throu five 16 villager cycles before an amiibo animal asks to leave, esp if you only have like, 1 or 2.

that seems legitimate...i've never had over 2 amiibo villagers. but i've seen people with as many as 7 who never asked to move...but only a few times, so maybe they were just unlucky

I only have 1 amiibo villager, Grizzly, and he has never pinged me to move. He's been living in my town since August of last year and I've had moving pings from every other villager except Bruce, who just moved in a few weeks ago. I guess because I just have the one amiibo villager, he'll rarely (if ever) ping me to move.

I've only ever had one amiibo card villager, Etoile. She's actually never pinged me to move but I'm sure it'll happen eventually, it'd suck if you were permanently stuck with a villager because you scanned them in. I love her though lol so I'm glad she hasn't asked to move.

I scanned in Wendy in my old town in 2017, fast forward to 2019 she had never asked to move. Then I just reset lol. But I think the more Amiibo you have in your town the more they'll ping the less you have the less they'll ping

As far as I know, nope. I've found that the ones that come from welcome amiibo cards do (when i've achieved them from other people.) But I don't think the statue ones do. I had cece from the callie amiibo, and as far as I know she didn't move out in that whole time I had her. I think your best bet is probably kicking them out with another amiibo. I've heard somewhere else that they can but just take a really long time which I suppose is probably true, but i'm not too sure.

So far no.... I have Tybalt (my own welcome amiibo card) hasnt pinged me yet.
Marina and Dora (amibo cards) have not yet pinged me yet about it. Like senshi said, best you kick them out using another amiibo card

There was a time Rolf asked about moving out. I had 3 Rolfs in my different towns and the one who asked about it was the Rolf I invited through amiibo card. There wasn't other amiibo villagers in the town and he was like only 2 weeks in game time after moved in. But I guess it was just by luck, 'cause all other villagers that I invited through the card have barely asked to move out.

None of my Amiibo card/figure villagers have pinged to move.I think I've had Ketchup the longest(since shortly after the Amiibo update) and she's never pinged to move.

I've heard it just takes a really long time for them to ask to move out, but I don't know how reliable that is. Basically the theory is you have to get other villagers to ask several times, and shoot them down, before the amiibo villagers will ask to leave.

Regardless, I had Medli for several months, and she never asked to leave. I kicked her out and scanned in Elvis about a month ago, and so far, he hasn't asked to leave, either.

I used to have some amiibo villagers in my town. They all moved out regularly, maybe its a glitch or something :P

The only time they've ever pinged me to move was when all my villagers were scanned in via amiibo card. If there was ever a natural move in villager, they'd always be the ones to ask.
