Do you write to your villagers?

I always write very eloquent letters to my villagers, and always try to attach a present! I feel like my mayor likes to make everyone feel loved by writing them all unique letters; sometimes she likes to stir the pot, though, and starts rumors of a skeleton war. Sometimes, though, I send some...interesting...letters to villagers who have overstayed their welcome.

I normally give my new villagers joke letters but later on, I like sending them gifts with furniture that matches the theme of their houses or clothes that would look good on them.

I used to write more than I do now, but I'm trying to pick it up again because I'm about 50 shy of the gold badge. I always put elaborate messages in my letters, which my brother teased me for once Dora moved to his town and started showing him my letters. :L
For some reason I feel awful if I send a generic, thoughtless letter, despite the villagers virtual, illiterate characteristic :P

I only really do it when I'm sending them stuff to redecorate their houses. I do write enough to count towards the badge when I do it though.

I write to them a few times a week, but there are only a few I write actual letters to. That's because a lot of the time, the letters I get back just end up being repetitive. Like Lucky always finds a way to incorporate dessert in his letters every single time.

About once a month. I try to write each villager a letter that is specific for them and I always include a present of furniture or clothing.

I'm trying to get the letter writing badge atm so I'm writing waaay more often to my villagers than I used to. But normally I cba to ever write to them, mainly because AC doesn't allow you to copy what you've written in each letter so you gotta type out the same generic messages again and again and again. It's so tedious. Doesn't help that I hate touchpad typing, even with a stylus.

I once set an eviction notice to Pietro but omg I felt so guilty. He was always so happy to have received my letter and was so proud of it, it truly truly upset me. Yes I got emotional over pixels. Eventually I got Isabelle to take it off him and I wrote him a really nice letter saying sorry and telling him how great he was. I wrote to him everyday and sent him really nice stuff for about 3 months till I could find someone who really, really wanted him as I felt I owed it to him for being so mean. I know I know. Cri ervytiem.

Most of the time I only send letters if I want to send them a gift or I feel bad because I let them down like not getting a petition signed.

Yes, I do ^.^ almost daily when I'm actually playing and not just TT'ing to get something done. I actually LOVE writing them letters. I love making up a story, or a asking them to come hang out soon.
Just the other day I asked Rosie if she wanted to hang out by the beach soon. She replied with a letter mentioning something about dreaming of the beach. It was nice ^.^
I feel closer to my villagers by doing that, and they love letters so it's a win win situation.

I love writing letters to my villagers! I usually write letters whenever I want to send them a gift. I'll tell them about the gift or about something going on in my personal life, ask them how they are, ask if they wanna hang out, etc. ^__^

I used to do it so much! I thought that's how you make friends with them, and they would send me stuff. Then I realized they were sending me junk, and it really didn't matter about friendship since it was easy to become friends with them. So I stopped doing it. They still send me letters, and junk XD, all the time. SO I don't think it really matters.

Funny thing though when they show you the first letter you ever wrote them. It always makes me cringe when Carmen shows me the letter I wrote her. She was the first one, and I messed up, since I thought, for some dumb reason, that I couldn't separate words...I really don't know what happened. I had a brain fart I guess. So this is what my first letter to my top favorite villager looks like:

And she loves to show it to me to rub it in my face--what a jerk! Jk, we laugh about it. Good times.
