Do you write to your villagers?

I just sent letters to some of mine, I like writing to them and sending them presents. And hey, they might send something really cool back. Or not, but it's great that they can write to you and keep your letters and all that. I never bothered before, but it's something to do, and I suppose it'd increase your friendship levels with them too?

I used to do it almost everyday, but since I'm lazy, I usually just write them letters to send them items and stick "Thank you friend" as the message. :/

I get teary-eyed reading the letters they send me when they move.

Oh, I remember in my old town I was "hinting" at Benedict to leave by saying something like:

"I'm sorry, and this might shock you, but here we kill, roast, fry, and eat chickens. Feel free to leave if you don't want to stay."

I always write to new villagers, and I generally write to them all once a week and send them some perfect fruit, just to check in on them. I used to write every day and then I got my gold badge and suddenly got lazy about it ><

Do it every now and again, trying to get the gold badge for letter writing. I normally just spam several lines of characters into it since they don't understand a word of what you're saying. Sometimes use it to give them furniture that I don't want or would like to see in their house.

I was really surprised when I received letters from new villagers thanking me for sending them "a welcome note." I was definitely sending them a welcome letter of sorts, so I thought it was really cute.

Unfortunately now I haven't written letters as of late. I should probably get around to it. I just hate typing on the 3DS keyboard so much

I usually do when I'm in the mood/have time! I like writing long meaningful letters and sending gifts with it, cause I don't want them to show off my half-heartedly written to anyone. Basically I just say "thank you for being my friend!". I also noticed that if they don't like the item I sent them, they won't send anything back lol but they still put it in their room, it's sweet of them

I know, it's so cute when they thank you for welcoming them to town! If you post them a gift on their birthday, they write back and say thanks for the birthday gift too ^_^

yeah, i typically always greet them in my town with a letter type that suits them. i have forgotten on some occasion and it sucks when they keep showing the "hey friend please use this in your house i love you" letter. -___________-;;

i would honestly write more but it's just pretty time consuming. despite the fact that i would make that kind of time.

i write letters & send them presents.the one good-bye that still gets to me a little is from Beardo at the bottom it says tears streaming so i saved that letter.

I usually write all of my villagers once or twice a week. And I always write the same thing with a present attached.

"How are you doing today?
I hope you're doing well.
I am doing fine.
I love you!
Hope you enjoy this present."
