Do you write letters to yourself in this game?

Do you ever send yourself mail in this game? How many days/weeks/months/years does a letter take to come back to you?
Do you include any gifts for yourself? What do you typically write about?

One of the last letters I wrote myself took a year to get back to me, and I asked if Omicron was Omigone yet

I usually ask myself questions and maybe include some bells​

I have to admit I don’t think I ever did that.
I don’t really write letters period, so writing one for myself isn’t really my type of thing to do whenever I play. Maybe I should’ve been doing it, seems like a fun idea!

I've never done that, I time travel a lot so there wouldn't really be a point for me.

Yeah, I've been doing it since childhood. It's a feature I always liked and I hope it stays.

I think I wrote to myself in New Leaf during 8th grade comforting myself about going to high school.

I forget the mail was a thing. I used to in WW and NL. I don't even write to my villagers anymore but I probably should cause it was cute when they talked about it.

i definitely used to, but i honestly don't remember the last time i did. maybe if i still played more consistently i would do it again

I don't think I've ever done that in this game (though, I am willing to reply back if I do get a letter out of the blue lol), but I have done so in New Leaf a while back.
I think my letter was for 2039, so again, I'll be back lol. Hoping the letter doesnt ask me things like are you a writer yet or whatever. Because thats a sticky slope to get up onto. I don't remember what I wrote though so

I’ve done that! I have my main character and my secondary character. Sometimes if there is nice stationery, I will write to myself through the characters

I’ve never written a letter to myself and I didn’t even know that was an option tbh… it kind of shows how rarely I use the mailing/letter system I suppose.

I did it once for curiosity's sake and then forgot about it, so when I received it; I was sorta spooked, hahaha. I think I wrote how this is weird and why I'm doing this.

Don’t know if this counts, but I’ve sent letters to my other player character on my island (with DIY recipes) just to fully complete the Nook Miles goal. I’ve rarely sent letters to myself otherwise.

I've never written a letter to myself in the game. It's definitely neat that you're able to do that, but it's not something I've ever thought about doing, lol.

I think I did wrote a few times to myself but not that many and after so long I have forgotten what I said but its likely it was silly stuff and jokes with something random attached ^^u
