Do You Utiliaze Fung Shui?

I was thinking about trying Fung Shui in my house. I've been neglecting the concept as a waste of time, but now I'm considering giving it shot.

Do you use Fung Shui in your house? Does it actually make a difference/have an effect on your gameplay besides a good Happy Homes rating?

I don't go out of my way to use Feng Shui, but I'll do it if it still makes sense with the room design I have in mind. For instance, I like to put plants at the bottom of the room near the entrance so that counts for Feng Shui. If I can't decide whether I want my phonograph on the left or the right side of the room and I think it looks good either way, I'll put it on the left for Feng Shui.

I've never noticed much of a difference while playing the game, though. Maybe you really have to go all out for it to matter. The only thing I've ever seen was a slight boost in my HHA scores.

Well, I do it. I even do it at the Re-Tail and I know it doesn’t matter there. I don’t know if it works but I’ll take all the help I can get.

I have used it a bit to get hha points but since i don't move my stuff around that much i wouldn't know if it actually makes me luckier than normal since i always have those items in those places? Like i don't have a baseline to compare to so i wouldn't know if it was working i guess? ))) but I'm not actively looking for more luck so ?\_(ツ)_/?

I wouldn't care to go out of my way to fit my room(s) perfectly for it. But sometimes it's fun challenge to make room that has restrictions by it and yet look good. I have tried it that way a few times. The only thing I noticed was that Redd or villagers sell artworks for slightly more casual price when you use yellow thing.

Not consciously, mainly because I can never remember which directions mean what, hahaha! However, I did have green/south ingrained in my memory from the Gamecube days, so more often than not I still end up putting my plants near the front of my house just out of habit.

No, I find it quite useless of a feature and I think the benefits aren't great enough to do it. It is also too annoying to arrange everything to meet the requirements as well as make it look aesthetic at the same time, which is yet another huge turn off to me.

I have never actually used it in the Game as I like to have a lot of random nic nacs in my house and that doesn't really fit the feng shui vibe.

Never really. I have always been able to get the points by just using themed furniture. After I complete the themes, I just redecorate however I want. Other than extra points, I?m not sure if it does anything different in the game.

Haha same, the first time I did feng shui was for the event!

I never tried it before in my actual houses because I think the requirements and colours needed are not really to my taste when I'm making a room. In fact, I haven't really participated in any housing type challenges the game gives you, such as feng shui and the themed houses for the HHA challenge.
