I use Pinterest a lot, both professionally and personally.
As an Educator it's a great source of inspiration for experiences and activity set-ups, although I don't actually "do" most of the ideas as presented (too adult-led ; stuff that makes us "look good" rather than offers meaningful learning opportunities to children). It's a brilliant source for ideas on how to use "x" resource though, better than any google search lol. I have 12+ boards for things from "assorted printables" to "sensory play recipes I actually use" (as opposed to the "things to try!" board where untested recipes go) to a generic "children" board that has good links and even 'meme' style images which explain some aspect of childhood in a positive/productive way. Often, I'll save things onto multiple boards as which makes it easier for me to find particular things later. I hate wasting a lunch break trying to find that *one* link I know is around here somewhere lol.
Personally, I mainly use it to keep track of gift wish lists, my own as well as for others. I have "art" and "funny comeback" boards which I use a lot, but much of my own art/craft stuff has been ignored in recent years so my craft-related pins are usually for work stuff haha.
I find Pinterest is great if you are aware of the pitfalls and use it as a tool to help, like most social media apps.
