Someone made a thread asking if members used screen protectors on the Switch, so I’m wondering if you use screen protectors on your phones? I was actually quite surprised by the responses. I didn’t know so many people used screen protectors. I’ve just never thought about it.

I’ve actually never used screen protectors on my phone. I’ve only used phone cases. I have a custom phone case right now. I think I’m just really careful with my phone and I don’t have any fingernails (not really, they’re just really short) so I never worry about unintentionally scratching the screen.

I am extremely clumsy with my phone so rather than a standard screen protector I have a clear magnetic case that covers the entire device. It's shattered in multiple places and needs replacing, but the phone screen underneath is fine!

No, I don't use a screen protector. I do have a folding case for my phone that protects the screen when it's not in use, though. I've never had any problems with going that route and my screen is still flawless even after years of use.

I use a screen protector with all my devices cuz I'm clumsy. I've dropped multiple devices which usually ends in a crack, so I make sure all of them are protected.

Yes I do! I only used a screen protector for half of my old phones lifetime and it got scratched real fast. It was part of the reason I upgraded as I hate having any damage on my devices. Thank gosh my new phone has a protector as I've dropped it on gravel and asphalt so many times lol

Yep! Only because I have an iPhone 12 and it was expensive, so I don't wanna get it all scratched up.

My last phone was an iPhone 5S, which I had for five years and only got a couple of miniscule scratches on though, and I didn't use a screen protector for that,,so I'm just being cautious with my new phone.

I have a clear screen protecter on and I'm glad it's there cause I dropped my phone many times and the screen is shattered, but the good ol' screen protector sticker is holding everything together lmao.

Nope, I'm glad I haven't broken my screen yet, I drop my phone frequently.
I cracked the screen on my last phone, but it was off the side where the screen was always black anyway, so you couldn't really see it.

I’ve never broken a screen but I always have a glass protector on mine. If it ever gets scratched on accident it’s super easy and fairly inexpensive to buy a new one.

I had a 2nd gen iPod Touch back in the days when it was cool and I somehow put a small scratch on the screen and it bothered me to no end. Ever since then I always use some sort of protector. Better safe than sorry.

My current phone has the factory screen protector on it. I've used the glass ones before but I've dropped my phone too much that it's not really worth it. I'm trying to be more careful with my phone now since I'm considering buying a new one soon.

yes i do lol im super clumsy so i drop my phone all the time, luckily my protector hasn't started cracking yet

I don't use a screen protector as I've never really had the need for one, I'm pretty careful with my phone and I've never scratched or broken one before so I'm hoping it stays that way. I did have a case on my previous phone but it didn't fit on my new one and I've not replaced it so currently my phone doesn't have a protector or a case but its been like that for over a year now and still looks new.

Nope, I don’t. My current phone is pretty durable and I haven’t broken it or damaged it at all yet, so I think I’m fine without one.

Yes. Partly because it makes it easy to clean, and partly because I'd be lying if I said I hadn't dropped phones in the past!

No, I don't use a screen protector. I know that the screen should be fine with just the phone case I'm using for my phone, so it won't break if I drop it by accident, and I'm not too worried about managing to scratch it.

I don’t use a screen protector but have a case that extends past the screen which protects it from any potential breaks, there are also shock absorbency corners to help further prevent that c: although I still should probably invest in one to prevent normal scratches from wear and tear!

i don't but i should because i literally don't know how to hold a phone 😂
but despite dropping my phone all the time, it's not broken so i don't really need a screen protector
my phone is OP 👁👄👁

i do! im very clumsy and i drop my phone constantly, that being said my screen protector is pretty messed up and i need a new one lol

im literally the most clumsy person ever, if i didn’t have a screen protector my phone would’ve broke a longgg time ago. i never knew a lot of people didn’t use them, i just assumed that everyone drops it as much as i do lmao.

but fr, the amount of stuff ive broken; plates, glasses, the coffee maker, the microwave, the oven (i swear i don’t know how), housewares, etc the list can go on forever. didn’t want to take that chance with my phone. thinking back, i now understand why my family never lets me carry anything and they’d just rather do it themselves 😅

I do on my phone because it was a hand-me-down and it came like that. I don’t on my iPad because I don’t like the feel of screen protectors when I draw on it.
