I have time traveled with all of my towns and with every game. I just recently got my 5th copy and I'm not time traveling again. I've found the game is more fun without TT.

I used to, a perfect example of how I lost interest in Animal Crossing. Now I don't, and always excited for every tomorrow!

I only time travel a day ahead to see if my saplings grew, then go back again to the normal time

I always tt, I'm the impatient type so doing stuff day by day is not really the playstyle for me.

I usually dont but lately I am alot on my main town because two of my dreamies moved and I want them back!!!

Not as much as I used to. The most recent time I time travelled was a few days ago to get a villager to move out quicker.

I only do it when I need to move a villager in/out, unlock/build PWPs, and if I need to unlock the QR code machine on a new player.

Right now I'm doing it to build PWPs. Already in 2k16.

Never have, never will. Only time my 3DS clock changes is when I've changed times where I am- when you trave a lot, you tend to see that happenng a lot! I look at it like this, the point of the game is a virtual world that runs in real time. If the stores are closed, I missed it for the day. Oh well, just like real life, that's why I love the series, it's literally the world on a game system.

Yes. But not as much as i used to when I first got the game!

Sometimes I will be doing paths in the late of night and I jsut happen to see cute clothes/ paths so I tt to tomorrow for the qr machine! But I also do it with my trees and stuff to see how they would look.

I dont time travel I find the game way more fun if I just play day by day. Even if that means almost 2 weeks into the game and still waiting for my slingshot so could not do Easter lol. Then again there is always next year.

I used to TT on ACWW when I was a lot younger because I was impatient, and didn't really understand the concept of a real-time game. But that was probably why I never really could get into ACWW, and I got tired of the game quickly.

I don't TT on ACNL, and I find it's more rewarding this way as it gives me something to look forward to each day. And it gives me a sense of accomplishment when a PWP I've been working on for weeks finally comes to fruition. And it makes the events more exciting in my opinion.

But I can see the appeal of TTing; and I'm not going to pretend that I don't benefit indirectly from TTing by purchasing items on the TBT Marketplace!

The only thing I do is keep my clock set like three hours behind. I'm a pretty busy person and often don't play until 10pm or later every night... if I didn't do that I'd never be able to hit my stores up. I could set my ordinance to night owl, but until recently I really needed the bells ordinance to make my first million, and now I'm thinking that beautification might be better since I've lost a few flowers from neglect recently.

Let me think. Only when starting up the town do I time travel to get my wanted villagers
Then I go back to the real date
I don't like when the dates look a little funky on my town tree
I would rather take things slow or inky play a little each day

Nope, I prefer playing day by day.

The exception to that was in reclaiming my first town, which I hadn't touched in over a year and a half. I TT'd back to the last day I'd played, then did jump forward to the present. Other than that, I leave the clock alone.

im new to ac but whats time travel

Time travel is when you change the time and date with Isabelle at the start screen. You can go forward or back, if you choose.

you can change the clock with isabelle? Huh... I didn't know that. I always just keep my 3ds three hours in the past... are there advantages to changing the time with isabelle? does the game "know" then and react differently?

No, I don't time travel. I feel like I'd be bored with Animal Crossing quickly if I kept time travelling, but that's just me.

I time travel but instead of it being boring for me it actually makes it more fun. But I only time travel a day ahead and then back to grow bushes or speed up pwps.
