Do you think we'll get an AC Switch bundle release?

Seems extremely likely to me, considering many main switch titles are offering bundles already. They know it'd sell like hotcakes, so why wouldn't they? What do you think?

A bonus question: do you think the second generation of Switch will be out by 2019? Perhaps the bundle will contain Nintendo Switch 2 (or Slim, or XL, or whatever fancy new moniker they decide to attach.) It'd be very quick on the trigger, but I certainly don't think it's impossible.

Yep, most likely. But I already have a switch that was bundled with Super Mario Odyssey so there are no plans of getting it from my end. RIP.

Bonus: I think it's way too soon that Nintendo will release a second generation of the Nintendo Switch. Everything is working just fine (though online can go into the garbage can) and the console itself isn't even two years old yet. In fact, I doubt that we'll ever get a Switch 2.0 but that's just me. Anything can happen.

I hope so. Not just a bundle but a AC themed switch. I'm looking to buy my own soon, I currently share one with my boyfriend. I told him as soon as AC Switch is released, I'd buy my own because I want to be able to travel to his town and vice versa. I almost bought the Pikachu & Eevee one but I'm holding off in hopes that they release one that is AC themed.

I voted yes, since Nintendo did that when New Leaf came out on the 3DS, but I do wish Nintendo would make some sort of announcement about it as I don't have a Switch yet.

I wouldn't doubt them making a Switch bundle for AC Switch. They made one for the 3DS game, and they've been making ones for all the popular upcoming games like SSBU and Pokemon Let's Go.

I'm actually hoping they do, I personally wouldn't get it (because I'm gonna get a Switch before the end of this year) but it'd still be a really neat thing to see ^^

Nintendo has made Animal Crossing Bundles of New Leaf for the 3DS XL, Happy Home Designer for New 3DS and New 3DS XL, and Welcome Amiibo for the 2DS XL.

At this point a Switch bundle is bound to happen.

I hope so! It seems likely since they've made AC ds in the past and the Switch is already getting a lot of bundles/limited editions. I just pre-ordered the Let's Go, but if an AC Switch comes out I'm definitely getting that one too!

I honestly would be surprised if we didn't. Nintendo KNOWS people are really looking forward to AC Switch, and bigger games tend to get limited consoles.

The Switch is destined to sell like hotcakes next year regardless though, between AC Switch, Pokemon Gen 8, and probably other big titles we don't know about yet.

Absolutely, and I reckon it'll be themed with AC as well, but I don't mind either way.

As for the Switch being revamped by then, I don't think so. I'm not really sure what could be done at this point anyway to improve it. I haven't heard any huge complaints being repeated a bunch.

That?s a good point. I could see them maybe removing the black bezel for more screen space and adding more storage, but that?s really it. I think they?d want the Joy-Cons to remain compatible, so making the body itself slimmer or larger doesn?t sound very possible.

I'm sure that we will at least get a bundle. But I don't know if we will be getting a specifically designed special edition Switch, especially because Nintendo has only made 3 of those so far (LABO, Pok?mon and Smash Bros.).

But if there is going to be a special edition I'll buy a second Switch lol


And no I don't think we'll be getting a hardware revision for the Switch anytime soon. Maybe they'll make something similar to the Wii mini later on. Maybe like a Switch that's exclusively the handheld part or exclusively console to be able to cut the price a bit. But I wouldn't expect that until years later honestly.

Yes, I think it's most likely they will make a custom Switch for Animal Crossing. They released a special 3ds with it, a bit later special plates for the new 3ds and even a custom New Nintendo 2dsXL (that I got). Animal Crossing is a system seller for a lot of people so I would be surprised if they are not making a special one. I will not get it because I already have a Switch and I really don't see a reason to buy another one.

Well, since there is a Pokemon Let's Go and a Smash bundle, pretty sure they gonna
release a Animal Crossing bundle too. Nintendo would be otherwise crazy if they not
release one. Not sure however if there is going to be a new version of the Switch

I'd definitely say that there is a good possibility for an Animal Crossing Switch bundle! There's already a Pokemon Let's Go and Smash Bros bundle coming out and Animal Crossing is a popular title too, and much anticipated game. So I think it would be a great idea for Nintendo to release an AC bundle.

For me, the only downside if there is a bundle is that I already have a Switch and as much as I would like to own an Animal Crossing Switch, I would not buy another. I don't need two Switches lol.

Hopefully! I don't see why it wouldn't happen, considering Nintendo seem to be making a few for Smash and Pokemon it's likely that Animal Crossing will get one too! They've also had custom consoles in the past, so I think it's very possible they'll get the same treatment on the switch!

As much as I would love an Animal Crossing themed switch, I wouldn't be getting it unfortunately. Would be nice, but having two switches would be a waste loool. Hope for everyone else planning to get one that it comes!

Probably. Although, I hope not. Nintendo has been releasing too many 'themed' Switch consoles lately. They aren't cheap and it might start to tick people off. Even if the dock is themed, those aren't cheap either. Where I live, they are over 100 dollars.
