Do you think the Switch Console will inflate when Horizons comes out?

I don?t have the switch, and I only want it for horizons. I was wondering if you guys think they might inflate the price due to horizons coming out?

I have the money saved up , but I?m kind of hoping family members buy it for me for my birthday (which is on March). Anyways if they don?t , I would have to buy it, and I?m scared the price would inflate. Most likely , they will get me the actual game and not the console.

From my own observations, the release of a single game hardly inflates the price of a console.
I am fairly certain the price will remain at what it currently is.

There's no way Animal Crossing causes scarcity, and thus, inflation in price. If you're lucky, they'll release an AC branded Switch that'll come pre-loaded with the game, and ultimately, save you a couple dollars.

Even if scarcity happens, there's no way the Switch is being inflated. Unless you're buying from Ebay or Craigslist, the MSRP will remain at its respective value.

To OP, there is 0 chance the Switch is selling out at this point.

It didn't happen with the release of Smash ultimate (which is honestly probably bigger than ACNH imo) or other titles, so I think you are safe with this one. I think its just going to maintain price probably.

When I read the thread title, I suddenly had notions of my Switch being injected with air and expanding to a disproportionate size when I put the Animal Crossing cartridge into the console lol.
