I decided to buy a second copy, and was wondering if I should start a cycling thread and help people get their dreamies all for free.
But this time, I'm making my town totally hipster. All my dreamies will not be at Tier 1 and Tier 2. So do you think it will be a good idea for me to start a cycling town? (Advices are appreciated) I already planned out how my thread is going to work, so it's quite fun for me to try new things.

It would be helpful for other people, but would you really enjoy doing it? Or would feeling obligated to do it make the game not feel as fun for you?

I like helping people alot, and would love to spread joy to everyone :v But I'll probably take breaks every now and then.

spread the love my man

even if you retire early like i did, at least you'd have helped some people. if you dont get many bites you can also crosspost to reddit, they WILL usually grab up any tier villagers there.

I began a thread, then quit and just cycle when I have time. Then I do individual Giveaway threads. That way it is not so much pressure. I do have an eye out for a few people, but other than that I don't want to have too much stress or else the game would lose its fun.

I also love to spread the joy, so go for it! :) The only warning I have is that the town/s I use for misc. stuff (holding my stuff and trading with my other retail) became more than "cycling" towns for me. I am rather attached to them and altho I give the villagers away when they move I still build up the towns slowly. I just can't seem to make them cycling only.

Yes:

~ you're helping people and that makes you happy

No:

~ you're spending quite a lot of money and time on other people which can become an issue
~ you can eventually get bored of it = waste of money

I personally wouldn't start a cycling town.

im just going to second separate giveaway threads. i literally gave away like...3-4 T2's and they all got one or two entries each, and that was AFTER i scoured the boards to find people looking for them. i was also posting at kind of bad times but still
it's probably better to have separate giveaway/raffle threads because people dont like reading titles apparently

wow im dumb and didnt read the post fully im sorry LMFAO im so tireddd
but what i was trying to say was, aside from your main cycling thread if you do a raffle for a popular villager or something try making a separate thread so it gets more attention

I really enjoy having my side cycling town, I don't have a thread or anything though cause I don't cycle regularly enough.

Thanks guys :3 all of u r fab. I will try to put up a cycling town and see if I like it. As you know, I spend alot of time on TBT (it's 4:40 am here) so expect to see a cycling thread with a funny, witty, name soon. This thread is still open for opinions, if you feel the need to say them.

While a cycling town is good i picked no since there are already A LOT of cycling towns but the more the better i suppose! If you really want to then go for it, but there's just a lot already in my personal opinion. Do what makes you and others happy

Yes, I bought a second DS and thought I was going to cycle but instead it has turned into a holding town for dreamies others are trying to cycle back. ^^

You can try! I was originally going to do it with my own second copy but I became too attached to the town. But until I get all the dreamies for that one town I think I'll do auctions/giveaways for the few villagers I have. You never know!

omg your sig! Kpop ♥ c:

Anyways at OP - If you do a cycling town, I wish you success and to have fun! [:
Tons of people want specific dreamies, but lack the funds to buy them or villagers to trade them with >< (Like me, since I just started a week ago, but I TTed a lot to get villagers I wanted and that was terrible and failed lol)

So yeah, you should cycle towns for dreamies when you feel like so, not because you're obligated to! ^^
Good luck and have fun! And thanks for being really generous and kind to help people het their dreamies!
