I have this giant bin full of old Pokemon cards that we need to look through. I never even played the game honestly, I just liked to collect them. I don't buy cards anymore though.

I do occasionally play Yugioh. That's kind of fun, but I just use our old cards.

When I was younger I collected Pokemon cards but rarely played, I also never had the chance to play the video games because I couldn't afford them. Now I collect amiibo cards, and I do play HHD but I don't know if that counts as "playing" since you don't need the cards to play it... So I clicked for "collect but don't play"

As a kid I used to collect the Pokemon cards like everybody else but never actually played the game. Later Yu-Gi-Oh became a thing and I played that but eventually grew out of it. Can't see myself getting into trading cards again, they are just too big of a money sink.

That must suck. I see your a pretty big pokemon fan as your sig and profile pic, so it must be horrible for your dad to be uncomfortable with the pokemon franchise? My grandma is extremely religious but never really had a problem with it.

i have like 3 binders full of pokemon cards and one mini box full of them. i don't really play the game but i just like collecting the cards lmao.

I still collect and play trading cards game now and then even with my busy time. I collect Pokemon, BuddyFight, and Cardfight Vanguard cards currently. But I would like to expand to even more card games like Magic The Gathering and Weinz Schwarz. Even get back into Yu-Gi-Oh to see if I can find a deck that can counter a few of these new monsters with some old cards or even new fusions and rituals or something.
