Do you still hit your rocks?

Only if they've been bad. I actually haven't gone out of my way to hit rocks lately. I only do that now if I need material or if I'm visiting an island. I don't want that Nook Mile Ticket to go to a complete waste.

I only bother if it is a nook miles+ goal. Otherwise I usually don’t. But I wanna try and move my rocks to one location in my town so that it makes it easier to do once a day in one shot. Then maybe I will again

I use a shovel daily to hunt for gold ore. I have 2 island and 2 players on each one and need resources for late night tool making.

Sometimes i never even get the chance to cause of my siblings but when i do i’m just too lazy, yeah i’m not the brightest with that

I hardly ever anymore. I get more than enough clay and iron from balloons, and I've crafted all the stone things I care to craft for the most part, so I just pick up my daily stone and that's usually good enough. If I am low enough on stone to warrant it then I'll do a little rock hitting. Typically I do it on mystery islands while I'm already collecting other resources. I'm not really looking out for gold all that much, but I'm happy to take it when I get it.

I used to island hop often to get extra materials from rocks but now I only hit them if they're in the way.

I have enough stone, clay, and iron to sustain what I want to craft and don't use gold enough to care about it.

Sometimes. Just the clear rocks. Some of them have flowers surrounding them and it’s a pain to dig up all the flowers just to get materials.

I basically only hit them when I decide they're in the way and I let them spawn somewhere else. The only place I hit rocks other than that is on mystery islands when I'm island hopping a lot so I can collect stone!

Recently, no. Because I still have a hoard of materials in my storage. Stock up on them, they said back in the early days of the game.
