Do you share a name with your mayor?

My mayor name is the same as my real name. My main character in Population Growing is also my real name. However, in Wild World it's Luna and in City Folk it's Lala

His name is Lysandre, which I think is a gorgeous name- just happened to be lifted from Pokemon XY. Sometimes I have the villagers call him other things, too. Lol.

Yep I quite like my name, so I use it. My mule villagers are also part of my very long middle name, and one is a named after someone very dear to my heart :3

My mayor's name is Kiwi...I wouldn't be too happy with my mother, if she really named me Kiwi. Though, I really don't care my real name, either.

My mayors name is my real name. When playing games that you can name your character, I usually just go with my real name. ^-^

For the mayor I used my dogs name. But I did use my real name on extra players.

I used to not name anything after my name irl because I hated it. Once I started using it for my protagonists in Pokemon and AC, I grew to like it more, so yes, my mayor does share my name. c:

As far back as I can remember I have always named my characters my own name.
I have tried playing games before without using my own name, but it just don't feel right to me. Lame, right? Lol
