Do you regret your town name?

Not at all! I love that I named my town Hamelin, since I love Ni no Kuni.

I don't think I do.. I think 'Shawol Town' has a nice ring to it and it relates to a band that I really love. The name came quite easy to me though I think I would have liked to have thought about it more and maybe think of a more meaningful name for it!

Yes and no. My New Leaf town is called Memoria, after a town in a story I am writing. While I don't hate it or anything like that, I just kinda regret naming it that.

I had originally planned to name EVERY town in every new AC game going forward Memoria, but decided against that and came up with something new and exciting. Something I am very proud of and can't wait for Animal Crossing NeXt to come out so I can use it.

Honestly... not at all. XD I love my town name! It's a beautiful word even when you ignore the reference. (I got it from a location in FFIX.)

Memoria is so beautiful, it's also the name of a song by the french band Indochine - which everyone should listen to even if you don't understand french

I regretted Westeros for a while but I came to love it again. I love Yurei even more, I've never seen another town with that name

I regret my town name, not enough to restart the town though. I wasn't really thinking and named the town after my favorite band. The name Slipknot doesn't really fit the town's theme either. I wasn't planning on going online so I thought no one, but me, would see the name.

Yes I wasn't on any forum when I made my town so I didn't think calling it Hyrule would matter since nobody else would be seeing it. Obviously now I'm doing online things I'm meeting other Hyrule towns and it gets a bit annoying just looks really uninspiring and unoriginal but I really never thought too much about it

I bought the game at launch and couldn't think of anything so yeah my town name is Hyrule too...
But yeah I'm not resetting my game just to change my town name. I couldn't even imagine...

Well I named it Virginia and I'm from Europe, not the USA... So while it's a pretty nice name it doesn't really mean anything personally to me, so I could have done better. It has grown on me though because it's been over three years.
I wish I'd named it Nocturne, it's my favourite song from Secret Garden (a Norwegian group). Now that would have meant something to me.

I don't regret any of my town names, Ice City and Ithlaene. But i do regret resetting my Wild World game, which had the original Ice City because of a stupid idea i had. But i love the towns i have, i wouldn't reset them for anything.

I got a used ACNL game and the previous owner's town name was Migar. First, I didn't even think about erasing the saved game data, thinking I could still be mayor. Afterwards I realized I was the resident so I started over and erased the previous saved game data and started up again. I honestly didn't know that when Rover asked me where I was heading, it was going to be the moment I chose my town name. I don't even know what was going through my head as I typed "Migar." lmao A day later I realized it will forever be my town name and I wasn't able to change it. After awhile though, it sort of grew on me (even though Migar is a weird name to name your town but whatever). I just like the sound of it. x'D
