It depends on what your into.
Currently, I would suggest watching Natsume Yuujin chou. It's a beautifully written series, that has a lot to do with Japanese mythology. the second season is still running though and i think there will be a third, so if you wanted a completed series idk.

EDIT: I just remembered! XD if you did want to watch completed series DEFINITELY check out Lucky Star and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! Two of the best anime I've ever watched!

Edit-EDIT: also, if you want to watch a really good movie, look into The Girl who Leapt Through Time! I cried, like, five times!
