Do you read the letters your villagers send you?

I always read them! It's very sweet. Punchy is an original and Julian moved in 2 days after I first got the game when it was released, so they usually send me the most letters. I let Twiggy move out but she'd always send me letters, is that a peppy personality thing? I think that despite TTing I have somehow maintained maximum friendship with most of my villagers because they come over to my house when I'm organizing things uninvited and send me random presents often. :] (Or maybe Whitney really just does hate my taste in furniture)
