do you read text in someone's voice?

When I'm reading text messages, forum posts, and character dialogue alone I like to kinda do some voice-acting (quietly) with the text because it's boring for me if I just read it. When I'm reading everything else, I'll occasionally whisper the text out loud. Sometimes people catch me doing that and they wonder why I'm mouthing to nothing...

With some friends I’ve heard the voice of I will read at least some of their texts in their voice. Most of the time everything I read in my head is either in my voice or a voice I think more closely matches the speaker’s gender.
