Do you prefer your villager houses lined up or spread?

My town is split in to two large parts, there's 5 villagers near my mayors' house, and 5 in the lower part. I kinda like it that way because once I have all my PWP's built, it'll all mesh well together. There is one villager who lives off to the side, but you still see her amongst the other villagers in the upper part of my town.

i like them spread apart. to me, it looks more natural, and helps avoid boring empty plots of land in your town!

I wish it would be consider a bug and Nintendo patch it up. It annoy me too.
