I live in the rural areas where there are a ton of mountains and I like that. But I also love the ocean. Most people here probably think you mean the congested tourist oceans. I hate those, but if you can find a ocean/bay side where it's not packed with careless litterbugs, it's so peaceful.
I honestly love both places. I used to go to a island full of wild horses and seeing them freely roam as I listened to the ocean waves was nice.
I've already experienced oceans and I think they're just okay. Mountains, on the other hand, I've never really experienced travelling there. But I'd definitely take in the breathtaking view than burning my back off in the beaches.
ocean! I'm a 70-90 degrees f, clear sky, sunscreen smell everywhere type of guy. Walking around the beach with my dogs, whale watching, scuba diving.. sigh. It's a goal of mine to live in Spain by a beach.
I don't really have a preference. I like pretty scenery in general, and I feel like both can have hits and misses in terms of how the scenery looks c: I'm not a huge beach person, but I think ocean waves are beautiful to watch, and sunsets look really pretty against the water. With mountains, you can enjoy nice plant and wildlife, as well as a cool view from above, assuming you hike up the mountain c: So yeah... I don't really visit either much, so I don't have too much of a preference :3
I prefer the ocean. My family is originally from the Berkshires, so I've spent time in both. I like visiting mountain areas, especially in the fall, but I definitely miss the salt smell in the air if I'm gone for too long.

Aarrrgghh I can't decide, I love both but depends on what mood I'm in as sometimes I'd prefer to visit the mountains and go hiking while others I'd rather go to beach and listen to the relaxing sound of the waves.
