Mechanical all the way. Pentel Sharp pencils are my personal favorite, but I'm fine with anything that doesn't require constant sharpening or that isn't a hexagonal terror that leaves a red mark on my middle finger after five minutes of writing.
mechanical. i actually used to really hate mechanical pencils for some reason but i gradually started using them more often over time, the feeling got flipped with normal pencils. if i run out of led, all i can do is push down on the eraser and more will come out. as for normal pencils, its more trouble - especially if you're the type of person who pushes down harshly on the paper when writing. normal pencils have much more cons than mechanical, like it gets dull easily, you constantly have to get up and sharpen it and ugh..pencil shavings, i hate having to deal with those
i only really use normal pencils for sketching.... my handwriting looks a lot better when i use a mechanical pencil because they're usually sharper than normal ones smh
I've always liked mechanical pencils more. I have some that claim the lead will never break when using it, and so far the claim has been true for myself (as I'm not purposely trying to break the lead).
