do you prefer normal pencils or mechanical pencils?

just a random question. I find that my handwriting is always better when using a mechanical pencil.

mech def. those wooden lead ****s hurt my thumb area so bad. also pencil sharpeners only eats them so good ugh

I don't mind either, they serve their purpose. Mechanical pencils can be fragile if you go for the cheaper ones, but the same goes for normal ones on most days. Mechanical pencils are convenient though, you don't need to sharpen them.

I prefer normal pencils. I always press really hard when I write so if I use mechanical pencils I always end up breaking the lead.

I usually write in pen so when I do use pencils I just stick to normal ones because I would rarely use a mechanical one. Also for drawing I have special pencils I like to use for those. ;v;

I only use mechanical pencils because I find normal pencils hard to write with. I hate when the lead of a normal pencil gets soft and when you write in a journal, it looks so faded and it's just ugh.

I always found the 'lead' in mechanical pencils to break really easily. The price/quality of them didn't seem to matter very much to how long the lead lasted without breaking.

They're better for writing I guess but I can't stand it when writing is done in pencil.

Normal pencils. I don't like mechanical pencils because the lead breaks off too easily. Normal pencils are just easier for me.

Yess, mechanical pencils! easier to manage, but sometimes depending on the lead point it breaks often and you have to buy lead overall seems more sturdy, then pencils are more stylish but shapening is kind of a hassle, but good for drawing/sketching.. ahaha

Mechanical pencils, since the wooden ones get eaten by pencil sharpeners so easily, and are a pain to get the end sharp. Not to mention you can replace the erasers too on most of them, whereas regular pencils you can't.

Mechanical. Wooden pencils are just a pain to write with, literally. I never learned how to properly hold a pencil, so whenever I write with a wooden pencil it digs into my fingers.
