Do you prefer 2D or 3D Zelda games?

I prefer 2D Zelda games. I feel like the puzzles and combat are more fun and I like the top-down perspective. Every 3D Zelda game I've played had bored me aside from Wind Waker. I kinda really dislike the combat and overworlds in most of the the 3D games, but I loved the sailing and dungeons and I felt the collectibles and sidequests were a lot more fun and rewarding in Wind waker. Majora's mask seems really interesting and different from the other games so I might try that.

I prefer the 3D ones, in the style of the N64/3DS remakes!! Probably because I've played them so much and they are very dear to my heart <3

(BTW Majoras Mask is the best Zelda in my opinion it is absolutely fantastic. One of my favourite games ever, tied with New Leaf and Super Mario Galaxy 2. 10/10. Best to try the 3D remake for the best experiance. )

They mean the models haha. Ocarina of Time is a 3D Zelda xD.

The first one I ever played was Spirit Tracks so I am rather partial to the 3DS style.

But the older 2D games hold up fantastically well for being "vintage" Zelda.

3D games. I'm more obsessed with the world than the stories of the games themselves and 3D games are just more fun to explore and look around in than 2D games because you get a better sense of scale with them.

On top of that, I prefer console games to handheld games as well.

Now remake Zelda II in 3D please. I will give you all of my money to explore that world in 3D.

I have no preference. Every title is pretty much amazing, in my opinion. My 2 favorites are Oracle of Ages (2D) and Ocarina of Time (3D).

I may or may not be wrong, but I consider Link Between worlds 2D for the most part. Same with the two DS titles.

I hate 2D so much, especially when it's a top down perspective. I hated a link between worlds so much, and will probably pass on triforce heros because of the angle

My favourites are the 3ds titles, althought the rest of my "list" varies. The two DS titles are at the very bottom of it and some 2d titles are quite high... i guess it depends more of the game itself than on what console was it released.

I prefer the 3D titles. I recently played Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and re-played a Link Between worlds, and found the 3D ones to have more of the kind of immersion I like. They're all great though.~

I haven't played any Zelda games, only watched other people play them. I think if I were to play them myself, I'd probably prefer the 2D ones. That said, I love the concept, designs, and story of Majora's Mask. Since again, I've never played them, I'm going with what appeals to me regardless: Majora's Mask gives my vote to 3D.

I really like the 3D games. I love exploring the world in depth. Let's face it. Twilight Princess was absolutely gorgeous.

Each one has its own charm, in my opinion. My two faves are Ocarina and Majora, both 3D, but next are Minish Cap and Link's Awakening. So you see, it's more a matter how much you enjoy them and not the graphics.
